— Story by Brian McLaughlin @B_McGLOCK
B GLOCK hit on the Eagles pick last night. Take a look at what was predicted yesterday and was we are mocking for the rest of the draft.
This has been one of the more unpredictable drafts in recent memory.
Ok, the final prediction for the Eagles at 14…..
LB Reuben Foster
WR Corey Davis
DT Jonathan Allen ? (injuries)
DE Derek Barnett
RB Dalvin Cook
CB Marlon Humphrey
14. Philadelphia Eagles – Derek Barnett- Defensive end, Tennessee
I don’t know if everyone will be “High fiving” or not, but this would be a safe and solid pick.
I would certainly sign up for this

In the second round A TRADE!! I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again … Trader Howie is the best Howie.. and he strikes yet again Thursday night.
The trade – #43 and and #118 to Atlanta For #31
31. Philadelphia Eagles- Dalvin Cook- RB, Florida state
The rest of the draft
14: Derek Barnett- Defensive End, Tennessee
31: Dalvin Cook- RB, Florida State
99: Rasul Douglass- CB, West Virginia
139: Damontae Kazee- CB, San Diego State
155: Elijah Lee – LB, Kansas State
194: Nate Hariston- CB, Temple
230: Stevie Ts’ikolovatu- DT, USC
As far as 14 goes, I would like to believe both Reuben Foster and Corey Davis would still be in play, but Barnett makes a lot of sense.
Now for the trade…
They are doing their homework on Cook, and if he falls, as many think he could, I think Howie pounces and sends the city into a frenzy. We know Howie is bold, and if a guy is there at the end of round 1 that they want, he will go and get him.
If Cook doesn’t fall, I would expect a running back at 43 and potentially a WR at 118.
I don’t have them selecting a corner until round 3! Might sound crazy, but I feel they can find some guys in the later rounds.
We’ll see how it all plays out.
