That’s right, we got screwed! We all knew we got screwed – I’m looking at you Pete Morelli – but for once the team agrees with us! Of course, now you may be asking: which of the many times the Eagles got screwed is this referring to? To which I would first reply, read the TMac piece I linked to; then I’d tell you it’s the Ryan Mathews fumble, because the quote I’m about to show wouldn’t make sense if I didn’t – you should still click the link though. From TMac:
I don’t get the whole “sending a clip of the play to the league for review” thing. Who the hell cares? It’s not like they’re going to retroactively change the game from a win to a loss. So who EFFING cares??? Let’s all just move on. Don’t play crappy defense in the first half next time and we won’t have to worry about getting screwed. Jeez. Alright, read more for more.
I’m tired and I have to wake up early, so let’s do some quick linkers tonight:
The Eagles made mistakes at bad times against the Lions. Here’s 2 of the biggest.
“Pederson has no plans to rein in Wentz.” Uhh, good? I never thought he would have any such plans, but happy to confirm that thought, I guess.
Is Chip Kelly “trolling” Howie Roseman? Hey, Chipper, don’t think that’s going to work brotha. Howie is kinda killing it and you are…well…not. So, know you role bro, so. See what I did there?
The Eagles worked out some linebackers I’ve never heard of today. So that’s cool.
#Eagles worked out LBs Eric Pinkins, Lamar Louis, and James Burgess.

Lane Johnson called his appeal hearing: “Eight hours of bickering.” Hey Lane, maybe if you had done eight seconds of thinking, you wouldn’t have had to be there in the first place! Ugh. Anyway, Lane also said he expects to get a ruling on his appeal later this week. Buckle up.
Here are nine things we learned from the Eagles loss to the Lions. I agree with all of them, except for number two. I completely disagree with number two. #Outrage
2 – Carson Wentz isn’t perfect
You take it back! He’s perfect; and special; and I love him. Ok. I think I’ve reached my limit – clearly. Time for bed.
