Remember that time Doug Pederson said his players didn’t quit, only to reverse course minutes later and say that some players did? Welp, in the least surprising turn of events in the history of humankind, Pederson’s comments have had an affect on the Eagles locker room. From ESPN.com:
“I think [Pederson’s comment] puts us in a little bit of a tough position as players because now everybody wants to know, well, who are you talking about?”
Unofficial locker room spokesman Malcolm Jenkins said that. Here’s more from TMac’s article:
Even the “dumbass” is questioning what his head coach said. This is awesome. Things are great. Not only does this team suck right now – but we also have another effing locker room issue. The Eagles, as an organization, have been the definition of dysfunction for the last few years. From the end of the Andy era, to the Chip/Howie/Gamble/ManOwitcz mess, to the current pile of dogshit we’re seeing bear out in front of us – nothing has gone right. While Pederson certainly needs to be ripped, and his competency in his job is absolutely in question, the issues with this team go far beyond their oafish head coach – maybe it’s time we start placing blame on everyone, from the top down. For more of my thoughts on this very subject, check this out:

More from TMac: Apparently, DeSean is “intrigued” at the idea of a return to Philly after the season. First of all, I’m not super gung-ho on the potential of a encore DJax performance – a 30-year-old WR whose main asset is speed, isn’t exactly high on my wish list – but I’d be fine with it for the right price. Ahhhhh, but there’s the rub. Make no bones about it, DeSean will go to the highest bidder. Period. So…yeah.
Remember the last
diva temperamental wide receiver we had in this city (well, besides T.O.)? Yup, Fred X! Aka, “The Worst.” What an A-Hole. Freddie resurfaced from whatever prison hole he’s been living in to take some shots at his former quarterback. Damn, is anyone more desperate for attention that this asshat?
Back to DeSean, as annoying as he is, he would easily be the best weapon Carson Wentz has ever had to work with – even at 30. Unsurprisingly, thanks to the trash he’s currently saddled with, Wentz is coming off the worst game of his career.
Luckily, it seems like Wentz is handling his struggles with a positive attitude. That’s pretty cool, I guess. It’s just so depressing this kid has to slog it out with this group of losers.
Speaking of losers, the cornerbacks have sucked too. Jeff McLane thinks the Eagles failed to invest properly at CB. I think Jeff is right. It’s been a while since we had good corners in this town – that’s something that needs to change, especially in today’s NFL. The NFL is all about passing, and the Eagles have shitty wide receivers and shitty cornerbacks. I’m depressed.
But hey, at least Ryan Mathews is ready to get back in action! That not doing it for you? Yeah, me neither.
At least we have the draft to look forward to. Here’s your first taste of Mel and Todd. We’re going to get so sick of these guys by the end of April.
Alright, let’s check out some Twitter Dot Com action to help ease the pain. Why will it ease your pain, you ask. It won’t. I lied to you. I just want to do it, so I’m going to do it. And if you don’t like it, then I’m genuinely sorry – but I’m still doing it.

Curry contract, Ertz contract, Lane (sure to be voided) contract – Howie’s “amazing” offseason isn’t looking so hot anymore. Wentz and the Bradford trade are his saving graces right now.
Keep this in mind with Howie:
He drafted 48 players from 2010-2014.
Zero multiple Pro Bowlers.
3 total Pro Bowlers [Foles, Kelce, Cox].

Doug Pederson says the #Eagles have to Trust The Process.

I hate to say it, but TTP may have jumped the shark. I love “the process” as much as anyone, but it’s starting to lose its luster. Especially when it’s coming from Dougie P.

Everything is coming up Dorenbos in 2016. Seriously, he has to the most famous long snapper ever at this point, right?
Bovada has a prop bet this week: Will Doug Pederson be Head Coach of the #Eagles for Week 1 of the 2017 Regular Season? Yes -650 No +375

It would (will?) be interesting to see how these odds change if the Eagles continue to lose – especially if they lose ugly.
#Eagles Ertz said he should have tried to get in Burfict’s way to impede his progress on the play where he let the Cincy LB chase down Wentz

No shit, Zach. No mother-effing shit. How about don’t play like a…I can’t. I just can’t.
