Well this is certainly good to hear.
Seems like Rasul Douglas is now impressed the guys that he’s going up against. Listen to Torrey Smith praise the rookie out of West Virginia.

Great job by John Barchard getting this on video.
Ever since OTA’s started a lot of the buzz from beat writers and even the players themselves has been about rookie third round cornerback, Rasul Douglas. Jalen Mills took turns praising him, Malcolm Jenkins did as well and now today, add Torrey Smith to growing list of fans in the Rasul Douglas hype train. Last week, Troy Vincent even compared him to his former battery mate, Bobby Taylor. Between all this, and the local media’s adoration, it’s been a hell of a start for Rasul Douglas.
The way Smith talks about him here just warms my heart right up. There are few things I love more than my players taking time to go over what they did wrong with a veteran. That is what a winning culture looks like and I think Douglas is going to be a part of that culture for a long time here.
Has Douglas been perfect? No, but this is the third straight time that he has stuck out in OTA’s. The first OTA people just acknowledged that he looked like he belonged, last week he got into a grove and picked on three passes and now this week the guys he’s trying to beat are singing his praises. I was on the BGN Radio podcast last week and we discussed if this was different than the Jalen Mills hype last season and both Barchard and BLG agreed that this was different and that Douglas was better from the jump. Mills showed some flashes in his rookie year, but the long bet should definitely be on Douglas.
