— If you were watching last night, you saw that Jon Dorenbos finished third in the finals of “America’s Got Talent”. Hell of a run for a guy who clearly has a career for himself after his long snapping days are over.
— The NFL released their list of nominees for the 2017 Hall of Fame and two notable Eagles made the list.

Some people don’t believe that 5 is worthy of the HOF and I don’t disagree, BUT I think he will make it eventually. The national media seems to think more of him than the savages here in Philly. Dawk will make it, but it may take a little bit.
— I love when Forbes comes out with their annual NFL Franchise Value Ranking List, as many of you saw was released yesterday. The Eagles ranked 10th out of the 32 NFL teams as far as value, worth an estimated $2.5 billion, up from a mere $2.4 billion, with revenues of $700 million in 2015. Not a bad investment for Eagles owner Jeff Lurie, who leveraged stock from his family’s fortune and bought the team in 1994 for only $185 million. Damn, wish my Fidelity 401k had that kind of return.
The Cowboys have the highest value at an incredible $4.2 billion, followed the Patriots at $4.1 billion. The Rams move to Los Angeles DOUBLED from their value from last season, now valued at $2.9 billion.
— More Wentz hype, today it comes from Las Vegas. The last time Bovada.lv posted odds on the 2016 NFL Rookie of the Year, Carson Wentz wasn’t even on the board to bet. At the time, the common theme that Wentz was the clear 3rd quarterback and if he played at all this season, it wouldn’t be until the end of the season. Well, the new odds came out yesterday and Carson Wentz is now the favorite to win it at 5/2, passing Ezekiel Elliott at 3/1.
Check back later for a post on all the updated odds, the Eagles odds have surged after their week one.
